Sepember 25th 20.50
On September 24th this email was sent with a series of bets for the Scottish Cip 1st round - we couldn't really include them in our overall figures but many subscibers took the plunge and were exceedingly glad they did - results are next to the matches
Edinburgh University v Whitehill
They have played twice already this season resulting in a win and a draw for Whitehill, they have spent a good few £s this season and can win their local derby
20 points Win Whitehill @ Evens Bwin, 20/21 Boyles, 10/11 William Hill WON
Rothes v Clachnacuddin
I got this from a friend who watches and used to play lot a lot of HFL
10 points win Clachnacuddin @ 16/11 Bwin, 7/5 Boyles 11/8 William Hill WON
Dalbeattie Star v Inverurie Loco Works
4 points win Dalbeattie @ 11/4 Bwin, Boyles Lost
St Cuthbert Wanderers v Keith
4 points win St Cuthbert @ 17/5 Bwin 10/3 Boyles Lost
Dalbeattie and Saint Cuthberts my team Threave's two main rivals both look a bit overpriced against mid team HFL teams. Team news for Keith isn’t encouraging. I have seen them both play a couple of times this season and both can turn it on at times.
Culter v Burntislan - as big a cert as you can get should be 1/20
Glasgow University v Cove Rangers - much the same a real mismatch should be 1/20
Wick v Coldstream - a very long journey for Coldstream, Wick will be wanting to finish them off at the first attempt
Culter 1/6
Cove 1/5
Wick 1/4
20 points treble with William Hills WON 3/4
Margin of Victory bets are well out at William Hill, these teams love to win by as many as possible - there’s no easing off
Culter by 4 or more 18/5 WON
Culter by exactly 3 4/1
Cove by 4 or more 4/1 WON
Cove by exactly 3 9/2
Wick by 4 or more 7/1 WON
Wick by exactly 3 11/2
12 x doubles 22/1, 29/1, 63/2
8 x trebles 148/1 |

We were going to do a big run down of how the year went - what happened when etc but dwelling on the past will not really help us move forward. We did set ourselves a target for the first year of public tipping of 10% ROI so the actual final figure of 15.5% is very pleasing - moving from the realms of punting your own money to people relying on your tips is not easy and Stephen has acquitted himself well. When things are not going well the temptation is there to chase losses but when we hit the odd sticky patch Stephen stuck to his guns and gave out the bets which he knew long term would provide a profit. I would like to say that we will analyse the results and see if we can improve things - maybe looking at Asian handicaps but with an ROI of 15.5% we don’t want to alter a winning formula too much. The overall figures can be seen below with the profit figure being the first column and the total staked the second. A shame we cant include the Scottish Cup early round bets but as only a couple of books priced up it wouldn’t be fair!!

February 20th 18.05
Well I believe it's time for an update after what has been quite an incredible weekend of tipping from FBI with 6 bets recommended and 6 winners - all aways - absolutely outstanding! We also have reports of customers betting the matches in accumulators and winning between £12,000 and £80,000 - whilst we don't advocate these bets there are FBI customers dancing in the streets tonight!!
The current figures stand at
Profit 293.49 points
Staked 1308 points
ROI 22.4% |
January 31st 11.50
With another completed winning month behind us it's time to look at how the figures stack up. So far we have had five out of seven winning months - although things were severely disrupted in December. We have staked 1168 points in total and won 181.34 giving an ROI of 15.5% .

The last two months have been very tough - mainly due to the near total lack of football and hopefuly we have seen the back of all the snow and ice for the timebeing. In a way we believe this wil now play into out hands and team news becomes all the more important with a huge backlog of fixtures and teams probably playing every weekend and midweek for the rest of the season. |
December 3rd 10.51
I have had a bit of a quiet morning so thought it was time I analysed the profit figures so far and they make pretty healthy reading.
Total figures to date read
Total number of bets 139
Total number of points 869
Total profit to date 167.74
This gives an ROI of 19.3%
The average stake per bet works out at 6.25 points.
Depending on how much you stake per bet you would have achieved the following profit levels
£10 per point average stake £62.50 total profit £1677.40
£25 per point average stake £156.25 total profit £4193.50
£50 per point average stake £312.50 total profit £8387
£100 per point average stake £625 total profit £16,774
Please note this doesn't include the 132.3 points profit from the Scottish FA Cup 1st round where only a few books priced up so not a bad return overall for an £80 a month outlay and about 10-15 minutes work a week!! |
November 20th 21.24
Another great weekend sees the overall figures hit the 20% ROI mark with a haul of 172.84 points profit from 864 staked |
November 10th 21.47
After a couple of great midweek reults we are now safely on course for our 4th straight winning month in a row - our figures now stand at 710 points staked, 122.19 profit and an ROI of 17.2% - clearly FBI is qucikly becoming one of the strongest football tipping services around |
October 23rd 17.32
Another great day with a further 43 points profit added to the coffers - that now takes us just shy of the 20% ROI - if you added in the Scottish FA Cup early round bets then this would be even higher. |
October 16th 17.46
Well what a superb day from Stephen - we knew it was coming after his excellent advice in the Scottish FA Cup and today we hit them hard on the league matches with 6/7 winning for a 62.1 point haul! |
October 2nd 20.59
Might as well type something very similar to last week - the League bets made a small loss but Stephen excelled himself with his Scottish Cup recommendations securing a 77 point profit for those who visited their local William Hill shop, or Bwin or the small independents or had an online account worth using (lots of ors!)
10 Golspie to beat Fort William 11/4 WON 3 2
5 Golspie to draw with Fort William 16/5 lost obviously
5 Brora to beat Edin Uni 11/4 WON 2 1
5 Girvan to beat Huntly 15/8 WON 2 1
Girvan win or draw
Brora win or draw
Golspie win or draw
8 x 1 point trebles returned 40.40

September 26th 09.18
A really frustrating day for FBI yesterday with 4 of our 5 league bets losing (3 of them were 0,0 draws!) but where the pain really came from were the bets we had for the Scottish FA Cup - this was the message sent to clients yesterday morning - fortuantely a lot got on and made a profit of 55.3 points!
Morning, sorry to say that with only 2 bookmakers pricing up [1 in some matches] we don't have any official bets for the 1st round of the Scottish Cup.
I have listed the proposed bets below in strength order - there are some cracking bets available with Paddy Power and William Hill ,and independents Scotscoup and McBookie also have prices up but I would doubt anybody has an account with them.
The proposed bets were
20 Forres @ Coldstream 8/13 PP and WH WON 3 1
10 Keith @ Vale of Leithen 7/5 PP and WH WON 3 1
10 Sunnybank @ Gala 13/10 PP WON 6 1
5 Inverurie @ Devronvale 6/4 PP DRAW
5 Golspie @ Fort William 9/5 WH DRAW
5 Wigtown @ Civil Service 5/1 and 5 4/1 draw WH WON 2 1
5 Whitehill @ Lossiemouth 11/5 WH WON 2 0
5 Preston @ Newtown 5/6 WH Draw 1 1

September 18th 20.11
FBI is going from strength to strength at the moment and after our poor week one performance we haven't really looked back with an overall ROI of 11.5% (Septembers alone is 30%) and next week we look forward to the Scottish Cup 1st round - an area where Stephen does very well so if you haven't joined yet I suggest you do and get the best out of your football betting |
September 4th 21.41
A very quiet weekend on the Scottish football front but our tipster Stephen found two 10 point win bets and both obliged plus for those that follow the mentions of correct scores we bagged a 50/1 winner with Queen of the South beating East Fife 5-0 |
August 25th 22.06
A poor weekend saw the profits for August drop but the two midweek bets have both won leaving us just shy of 40 points up |
August 15th 10.14
The second weekend of the season sees us secure a good profit of 10.9 points to add to the midweek profit of 4.3 points |
August 7th 16.54
An excellent start today to the season proper with 4 out of 6 winners and 26.8 points profit into the coffers |
August 6th 12.13
Well the start of the season proper is upon us and we get underway with the first bets going out at 2pm today - really looking forward to some good long term profits |
July 23rd 2.02.pm

July 15th 5.50pm
The original proofing trial with the Secret Betting Club ran from 9/2/10 to the end of the season - 27/4/10. This produced 204 bets staking 896 points giving 93.53 points profit with an ROI of 10.4%. |
